One of the most common questions buyers ask is: what are the documents required to book a plot? Having your paperwork ready saves time, avoids delays and makes the booking process much smoother. Here is a simple checklist to help you prepare.

Your Booking Checklist
1. CNIC Copy (Applicant)
A clear copy of the applicant’s valid CNIC is the basic identity document for booking.
2. Passport-Size Photographs
Keep recent passport-size photographs ready, as booking forms usually require them.
3. Booking Form and Payment Receipt
You will fill in the booking form, and after paying the booking amount you should receive an official payment receipt. Keep both safely, because they are your proof of booking.
4. Passport / NICOP Copy (Overseas Applicants)
Overseas Pakistanis usually need a copy of their passport or NICOP. You can read more in our Overseas Pakistanis’ Guide to Investing in DHA Gandhara.
Other Details You May Be Asked For
Depending on the project and stage of booking, you may also be asked for details such as next of kin information or a contact number and email. Requirements can change, so always confirm the latest list before submission.
Tips to Avoid Delays
- Make clear, readable copies of every document
- Check that names and CNIC numbers match everywhere
- Fill in the booking form carefully, without cutting or overwriting
- Keep a copy of everything you submit
- Collect an official receipt for every payment
Before You Pay
Documents are only one part of a safe booking. Make sure you are dealing with an authorized dealer, and read our list of 10 questions to ask your dealer before paying for a plot. To understand the full process afterwards, see how plot booking and transfer work in DHA projects.
